I come from a family of performing musicians. The enviroment enabled me to begin learning the interaction of music at a young age. It's been a constant part of my vocabulary, and the instrument I initially gravitated towards was the drum set. I started performing with the family band when I was eight and began forming my own projects at twelve.

When I was seventeen, I began to study jazz at the University of Nevada, Reno. Now, at 25, I've already had 20+ years behind my instrument, have performed on over 30 recording projects or albums. I mainly reside in Nashville, TN and frequently travel and tour.

I was born on October 20th, 1981- somewhere in California.  I don't remember where?

Parents
My dad, Joe Dolister, is a very talented bass player. He frequently plays music throughout the northern California and Nevada regions.

My mom is a singer and pianist. She is appreciated by many for being one of the founding members of The Truckee Alliance for the Musical Arts ( http://www.tamamusic.org/ responsible for thousands of dollars in art education scholarships) and for teaching art and drama at Truckee High School for 15+ years.

School
I'm constantly paying attention to other musicians and their perspectives on music, interaction, their musical talent, and the knowledge that they share. In many ways, the stage is a classroom.

My formal education comes from music performance and jazz studies at The University of Nevada, Reno.

Other
I am also a professional graphic designer / web designer. I built this site... and many others. Additionally, I have been engineering and mixing / mastering audio projects. It's an overbearing time killer. I'll thank me later.
